Gallery: The gate to Sarek National Park 2008 - 2010
Sarek National Park with its high mountains and deep valleys is a mythical mountain area that also very often is called “Europe’s last true wilderness”.
Among our tours we have a tour called
The gate to Sarek National Park which have two departures every year. On this tour we go dog sledding on the border of this fantastic area.
The tour starts and ends at
Saltoluokta Mountain Station. Most of the tour follows the Kings Trail south towards Kvikkjokk. The combination of virgin mountain forests and high mountains are characteristic for this tour.
We have made this tour since 1999. None of the tours through all the years have been like the other and I look forward to keep on guiding this tour for another couple of years.
